Hello, I have two computers: one with an i7-6800k and another with a Ryzen 5 1600X. I’m upgrading the first one to a Ryzen 9 3900X for gaming, but when rendering videos on my secondary PC, I use the second one. The 6800k is still solid, so I want to know which gives better video performance—6800k or 1600X. Also, I use the 3900X as my main machine for both 3D renders and video editing. Any advice would help?

Consider the 6800K as an option while keeping that in mind. You could extract more value from the I7, sell the 1600, and then cover the 3700X goal.
