I discovered this solution only recently, but it hasn’t been shared before. For those who used the Windows installer and encountered issues, simply navigating to Control Panel → Language & Region → Region → Administrative Tab and switching to English US should resolve the problem. Restart your system and retry the installation—then it should work smoothly.
