It's DDR5, meaning it supports dual channel. Apologies for missing that detail earlier.

It's unrelated to DDR5. I have dual-rank and single-rank DDR4 RAM. They found some decent deals in the Netherlands. Maybe I should revisit it. For the fifth time.

Technically speaking, the figures indicate a different narrative. Around a year ago, performance was capped at 6400 due to suboptimal RAM kits; improvements are minimal if a 6000 CL30 is available for €15 less (e.g., silicon power 6000 CL30). A new build would likely offer marginal gains. If such a kit exists, the value proposition becomes more compelling despite limited differences.

You're correct about the dual channel setup. And you're also right on the 400MHz aspect—it doesn't significantly improve performance, and not all motherboards support it.

My current setup looks pretty much like this https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/list/jtkq7R I know the motherboard is a bit too expensive, but I'm trying to fix it.

Currently most DDR5 chips use dual channel, but they’re also found in DDR4 and sometimes DDR3. Since I’m still young, I haven’t tried the site yet, but I’m happy you like it!

Most should now reflect the latest bios releases. You have a 7800 XT, but if you don’t need the 7900 XTX in your rig, that’s acceptable.
