I previously considered Corsair's 2 x 16GB RAM at around 125 euros. Now I've discovered the Lexar Ares RGB 2 x 16 RAM at about 110 euros, which is 15 euros cheaper and offers improved performance. In my view, it also has a better appearance. The only drawback is the lack of dual channel support, but that doesn't matter much. It definitely looks great! Share your thoughts—I think it's a solid choice unless your case isn't transparent or you prioritize dual channel RAM.

Correction: It's DDR5, so it supports dual channel. I missed that earlier. Apologies for the oversight. Edited January 19, 2024 by svenvb

It doesn’t seem to support dual channel! Please check the documentation for details. It would be better if it had dual channel support, especially with a 6400MHz bandwidth—ideally with dual channel RAM.

When discussing AM5 and the jump from 6000 CL30 to 6400 CL32, performance differences across European countries aren't significant. This applies whether you're starting fresh or upgrading. If you have a specific budget, country preference, and use case in mind—such as dual-rank operation—let me know. You mentioned dual rank? Edited January 19, 2024 by filpo

I haven’t verified it’s not a dual channel setup, but I located a review discussing dual rank and related components here: https://en.overclocking.com/review-lexar...-s-cl32/3/

What? Of course it does. If you're not experienced I highly suggest not buying anything faster than 6000 for Zen4. There is no benefit (again, unless you know what you're doing) and just potential headaches that can be avoided.

Dual rank stands apart from dual channel, offering a dual channel setup. It's great to see your new RAM in action—it looks impressive. Dual Rank and Single Rank depend on the memory modules within the memory PCB. https://history-computer.com/single-vs-dual-rank-ram/

On AM5 with XMP enabled, the 6400 CL32 setup performs poorly since it operates in 2:1 mode. This configuration is outdated—DDR5 supports dual channels per DIMM, so using two sticks counts as dual channel. If you need compatibility with 1:1 mode, consider a 6000 CL30/32 kit instead.

I reside in the Netherlands and am considering the Magniumgear Neo Qube 2 Infinity Mirror. I understand its airflow limitations but it offers incredible visuals. My budget isn’t tight, as long as the price isn’t absurd for items nobody requires—like a 64GB RAM configuration. It’s a fresh build, not something everyone buys, such as a H7 case or Be Quiet fans. The RAM should function properly, delivering about half the latency and double the bandwidth.

You're correct, dual channel is quite useful.
