I adjust the settings to 8, but with the view distance reduced by two levels, and I manage to maintain 60fps with my VSync. I could upgrade to settings 9, yet experience frame drops and increased GPU noise. I'm content with the current configuration using my RX 480 4GB and FX 8320 (4.2Ghz). Dalaran runs smoothly in the mid-40s, while other titles stay steady at 55-60fps. It's a big improvement over my previous HD 7850 and even the older HD 6750. I can play settings 1 at around 30fps on my i5 3317U notebook with built-in graphics. Settings 2 work in some areas, but the Intel GPU struggles to sustain them consistently. My wife uses settings 5 on an older Phenom II x4 925 and R9 255 2GB, achieving 50-60fps. I mostly tweak view distance, shadow quality, or particle effects to get older games running. It won't work on a basic system anymore—like when I had to replace my old Athlon 64 X2 and HD 6670 after the new xpac arrived.
