Hello, here are some suggestions for your motherboard choice. The AsRock B650M HDV/M.2 is a solid option, but the B650M PRO RS offers extra features that might be worth it depending on your needs. If you're on a tighter budget, the MSI B650M Gaming Plus WIFI is another good alternative with similar performance. Keep in mind the prices of these models to see which fits your budget best.
The budget and cost are in the specified currency and location. The pricing details for the three boards are clear and specific.
I’d definitely choose the MSI B650m Gaming Plus WIFI or the B650m PRO RS instead of the HDV/M.2 model. These options can easily support any AM5 CPU you have. The AsRock B650m HDV/M.2 should work fine with a 9800X3D, though I usually prefer a more robust motherboard if the budget permits.
Discussing no posts and dead CPUs, users on budget boards such as B650M-H/M.2 or B650M-HDV/M.2 face problems too—X3D isn't the only one affected. It's unclear if Zen4 impacts these issues or which BIOS versions are being used.
Both appear to be faulty items, likely based on limited examples or personal experiences. The second discussion even acknowledges running a 9800x3d with a h/m.2, which was already considered highly unlikely. It seems there isn't solid proof that every Asrock board has similar issues except for certain top components.
Hello everyone, thank you for your response. I’m considering upgrading to a Ryzen 5 7600X or Ryzen 7 7700. Based on the prices, Pro RS and MSI models range from 8.7k to 8.9k pesos, which converts to around 150 to 160 dollars HDV/M.2. At 135 dollars, the cost is quite reasonable. I’m looking at upgrading my GPU now, but my current setup uses an Asus RX6600XT. The prices seem high right now, and my PC is having some issues. I’m currently running a Ryzen 5 2600 with B450M Aorus Elite board and 16 GB RAM.
