For your 390 GPU, running Fallout 4 in VR should work, but performance may vary depending on the specific version and settings. You might need a mid-range GPU for smooth gameplay.

Likely around 290 or 970, though the exact number remains uncertain until the match concludes.

I thought it would be better, since most games require that minimum now, and they don’t look as tough on FOMO as they will be in VR—unless they really simplify things for VR so you don’t need a 1080. Even in Arizona sunshine I can experience big drops sometimes.

They aim to reach as many buyers as possible, so strict limits aren't beneficial for their finances. However, the visual quality needs to be reduced if the hardware meets the basic standards.

They're correct, it fits perfectly within the GPU specifications.

Well, considering VR... It's not widely available and comes with a high cost. This means you're likely using quality equipment. Also, you'll need to maintain a frame rate of around 90 frames per second, which puts a lot of strain on your system.

The limited availability increases its value for Bethesda since fewer buyers mean less competition. A consistent 90FPS goal applies to all VR titles, making Fallout 4 VR just as tough as other VR experiences.

It's true, Forza Oblivion offers an expansive open world experience that can be quite challenging without virtual reality. It demands more from players compared to typical VR titles such as bow and arrow or boxing. If you own VR equipment, make sure you have the necessary hardware to handle it; otherwise, you won't meet the expectations.

FO4 isn't the first open-world title in VR. Its demands outside VR don't match its VR challenges, which would require significant engine changes. Keeping physics at 60FPS wouldn't be feasible. You probably haven't seen other VR experiences yet—games like Robo Recall show what's possible. With the right hardware, such as an R9 390, you're set, though it's still a heavy load compared to older systems like the GTX 550 Ti, which is about half the power of a 560 Ti.
