I've been enjoying Dark Souls Remastered, especially at Sen's Fortress. I've mostly used keyboard and mouse, but I've noticed others prefer controllers. Let me know what you think. Stay safe, BucketBoiAce.

The controller enhances your rolling and camera management. Its setup is very straightforward—no requirement to use every keyboard key, and without relying on a gun to adjust your aim, mouse accuracy becomes unnecessary.

Both options are fine. While Dark Souls runs smoothly on consoles with controllers and TVs, I found the TV-and-controller setup to be more enjoyable overall.
