High Performance all-day, every-day. I don't see why you'd want balance or power-saving mode unless you're in a laptop.

I rely on a high-end laptop, but I can't tolerate sluggish performance. If you adjust it to run slower, it only reduces the CPU speed by about 0.20 GHz. I prefer a stable 200 MHz over waiting five minutes for better results.
