Hi, you're considering a new build and have your GPU and motherboard ready. For heavy tasks like editing, streaming, and gaming, you're looking for good value. The 5900X is an option but may be hard to find or more expensive. A 5800X offers similar pricing to the 3900X but could work better for Adobe Premiere Pro. If you're okay with a slightly older chip, it might be a solid choice. Let me know if you need more details!

Based on what we're doing, I’d choose the 3900XT instead of the 5800x. If the 5900x isn’t available soon, I’d opt for the 3900xt.

Based on pricing, this fits reference $395|10850k. $485|3900X $550|5900X. Every choice offers comparable value/performance. So... It comes down to your budget and desired level. Just steer clear of 3950, 5800, and 5950 which provide lower value for the investment.
