I'm trying to upgrade my CPU but faced some challenges due to the recent price hikes, especially for X3D chips. Here are the latest rates: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D at €530, AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D at €510, AMD Ryzen 9 9900X at €465, and AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D at €389. If the 7800X3D was still €390, it would have been a clear choice, but currently it's not. At these prices, is the 7800X3D still a good value? If yes, would you consider the 7900X3D for €20 more? The 9900X seems like a solid middle option, while the 7600X3D appears sufficient. I plan to use it with a 4080 Super and 32GB RAM, possibly expanding to 64GB later. I'll play games at 1440p and work on software development. For gaming, I enjoy titles like Black Ops 6 and Cyberpunk 2077. I want the best setup for my GPU without overspending.

The 7600X3D will give you a great experience in 1440p. You don't need to spend more than that. With this setup you can even play in 4K. But if you want to spend more to buy the 7800X3D and get 10% to 20% more performance (I don't think you'll get more than that), go with everything. I wouldn't.

For gaming, 7800x3d outperforms 7900x3d. My 7800x3d 4080 setup works great. It's really impressive. You won't find a 9800x3d model. Also, if you're planning to spend at least 465e and about 50e more on the 7800x3d, it makes sense to go with it since you'll use it for years.
