Foolish dragons in Skyrim.
Foolish dragons in Skyrim.
I carry a variety of weapons designed for different damage outputs, along with armor that offers protection against various threats.
Exquisitely crafted, mystical armor. Withstand flames, ice, impact, and sorcery. (Dragon cries channel magic) Your shield from the Daedra missions can also deflect dragon shouts, though I can't remember the exact level. Avoid direct melee attacks—use bows instead.
I own a mix of blade armor and other gear, with a rating around 170. My sword is called Dawnbreaker, dealing 26 damage and adding 10 fire damage points.
Here’s a simple guide to becoming a skilled smith and crafting quality armor. Follow these steps, and you’ll be ready to tackle the Daedra quests later. Start with basic tools, practice shaping metal, and experiment with different techniques to improve your skills.
Smithing and enchanting gain power through grinding, especially in smithing. Acquire as much iron as you can, craft iron daggers and upgrade them. It requires time, but this is the straightforward method to boost smithing without shortcuts. For enchanting, collect inexpensive soul gems and apply them to the daggers. Daedra quests can be completed anytime or once you reach level 10. Note: The exact Daedra quest I referenced is the one at the provided link. The recommended maximum armor cap without mods is around 750.
You can enhance the armor you purchase or craft it yourself to upgrade its quality. If you haven't consulted the blacksmith in Whiterun about needing assistance, reach out to her. This will teach you about smithing techniques and advance your progress by a few levels. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Smithing
I've noticed melee tactics work well against dragons. Keep following. Mjol the Lioness appears early and will stay with you after completing her quest. She's a solid choice because she can't be permanently defeated, though she'll only fall if caught in combat. She's also a reliable companion for tanking, heavy armor, or melee play. Excellent lure for dragons. Followers (AFK) can support up to 1000 weight, so bones shouldn't be an issue for them.
She's an excellent admirer I really like. Without Inigo, she would be my top choice.
