After switching to Windows 11, my PC frequently experiences a BSOD with the message "critical process died." Everything seemed normal before using Windows 10. I've tried various solutions—reinstalling Windows, installing drivers, upgrading BIOS—but haven't yet attempted a full SSD wipe and reinstall. Sometimes it boots briefly (about an hour) before crashing again. If anyone has tips or knows how to resolve this, it would be really helpful. Thanks!

That seems unnecessary given their recent announcement about discontinuing Windows 10 support.

Most individuals worldwide will continue to follow the 10-day deadline for Microsoft's "buy our new trash" announcement, making you part of a larger group.

I could end up having to do that if I don’t try.

Avoid frustration with the machine; focus your anger on Microsoft. They’re the ones forcing artificial lifespans onto software that functions perfectly.

I’m attempting another approach since I’m determined, but once it drops to zero I’ll stop.

It's not about anger toward the computer; it's more about frustration that it won't function. Still, it's tough to get things to work when they don't cooperate.

Remove all additional devices. Consider skipping the discrete graphics card if you have an integrated one. If the issue repeats consistently, it may relate to a driver problem. When no improvement occurs, test with different storage options or use BIOS tools to erase the drive (if your motherboard supports it).

I haven't performed a complete reset of the system. It has the ability, so I plan to attempt it once I'm back home from work. Thanks!
