You're facing a frustrating situation with your 8TB Seagate hard drive. The data storage is still intact, but accessing it has become impossible due to errors like "Drive is Inaccessible" and "Drive is unreadable or corrupted." After trying various solutions—changing security settings, using the Chk Disk command, and attempting recovery tools like EaseUS and Recuva—your previous folder structure has been lost. The hidden files reveal a maze of folders such as "found.001" and others, but without the original layout, recovering everything feels overwhelming. Someone can assist you in navigating this chaos and restoring your data safely. You're not alone in this!
Thank you for your response. However, I'm pretty sure the drive isn't physically harmed. My PC suddenly lost power because of a UPS failure, and since then I've been dealing with this issue.
Hey! Just checking in to see if you managed to recover those dir0000.chk files back into their original directories in an organized way. I’m experiencing the same problem myself. Now that I can copy and paste them wherever I need, my main concern is getting them back to their proper places in a systematic order, just like before they were saved in these folders. As a music producer, it’s really frustrating to lose all my VST files and sample packs like this. I don’t have any restore points either—there was one until last night before I shut down the PC, and when I turned it back on today, those restore points weren’t there either. Could you help me get them back to where they belonged? Thanks!
