Oh no, I assumed you required a Korean ID to join? I know I’m from Asia too and haven’t managed to play any Korean games yet.
It's essentially Koreans creating fake stories to promote products.
Hey, I'm not in a position to spend all my money :lol. I'll just keep waiting until Black Desert arrives in the West, and I hope it isn't region-locked.
Alternatively, you won’t receive an IP block. You also have the option to conceal your IP if you truly wish to participate in this game. I don’t really enjoy MMORPGs, though some friends are playing BDO and it took them a while to sign up due to the Korean language.
It's not about IP. The process during account setup needs something only a few people in Korea possess.
It shouldn't be that bad. My older HD7950-OC (around 7970) can handle it well. At 1080p and up to 80fps without Vsync, it performs nicely. The HD4600 iGPU manages 1680x1050 with Ultra Textures and low details at 35-45fps. My 290 can reach 80-100FPS on True Ultra details. The 7970 should maintain around 55-80fps, similar to my 7950-OC. It shouldn't need to cut details to keep 60fps. Does your friend regularly update drivers or is he using an older driver set?
There are many games that don’t demand high specs, offering both style and accessibility. You’re probably seeking titles meant for broad appeal rather than niche PC power users. Some games I’ve noticed or tried include Warthunder Planetside 2, World of Tanks, TERA Rift Loadout, Warframe, Neverwinter, Hawken, Nosgoth, Firefall, Starconflict, and Fractured Space Race. Room Experience is another one worth checking out. While texture quality isn’t perfect, the overall look is appealing. I’ve collected several screenshots from my playthroughs of TERA here: http://imgur.com/gallery/dUpsw
