I attempted to manage two network links simultaneously—my standard Ethernet and a tethered phone connection. I needed automatic switching so the phone connection would take over instantly when I connected the phone, eliminating the need to disconnect from Ethernet. I discovered a fix by assigning different priorities to each connection. However, the issue continues with VPN connections, especially with Windscribe. When connecting via Windscribe, the connection automatically routes through Ethernet, which isn’t ideal. I want to avoid that and stick with the tethered connection. ***NOTE*** I tried this on another machine using the same Windows version and internet provider; the problem seems unrelated to software. 2. My PC has two LAN ports on the motherboard, but I’m unsure if that’s the cause. Any further clarification would be appreciated. Thanks!
