In shovelware titles such as candycrush, simply right-click the icon in the start menu and choose uninstall. Certain applications require force-uninstalling via PowerShell using the commands provided by @EPENEX. As @GoodBytes mentioned, some programs like Windows Firewall may disable themselves when you use a third-party version, but with the creator’s update Windows Defender will continue to remind about firewall configurations.

The script simply takes them off the Start Menu. It doesn’t truly remove the programs from the system.

PowerShell file. It deletes certain items for the current account only. This strips away built-in tools like calculator, Notepad and system utilities, but excludes third-party applications depending on your region. You save some memory (good!) but may affect your workflow.

They reside in C:\Program Files\Windows Apps until the end of time. Attempted manual removal failed; access controls seem more secure than Fort Knox.
