so i got a square foam pad that came with one of the plenty of pc components i bought, im pretty sure it was the pc case though...........the the hell is it for? it has no sticky surface or anything

I notice your Dell laptop has a foam pad stuck to the back after you took it apart. It might have a function, but it doesn’t stick or peel off easily.
