I'm exploring more Linux options lately. I've been using Ubuntu as a dual boot for about five years and tried Elementary OS on a flash drive for testing. My goal is to set up a portable PC with just an IDE, SQL, and either NetBeans or IntelliJ—preferably avoiding SQL Server. The documentation mentions Ubuntu supports it (version 16.0), and I'm considering Ubuntu or Manjaro. I'm still figuring out compatibility across different distros, which is making things a bit tricky.
