I did that, I used a YouTuber's configuration but ended up with a different RAM. So I’m just grabbing whatever was available if I can’t figure it out. Yeah, I have an MSI A320M-A PRO and a Patriot Signature Premium 2x4GB DDR4 UDIMM at 2666MHz.

If it doesn’t fit, there might be an issue with the parts being removed from the box. Make sure the sticks are aligned correctly and the latches are unlocked; otherwise, the problem could be with the sticks themselves or the slots before they arrived.

What is this? It seems to fit a 288-pin slot with 288-pin DDR4 RAM. Before assembling your PC, check out a video.

It's hard to say without more details. If things are not working, check the motherboard and RAM one by one. If they're faulty, you might need to replace them.

I can't say for sure. All I know is that RAM is perfectly compatible with that motherboard. If something isn't working you are either doing it wrong or something is broken.

Ram doesn't just move smoothly—usually you align the tip of the stick toward the PCIe slots first, then turn it toward the clamping end. If the matching side is set correctly (the notch), push it in until you hear a click and the clasp secures the ram in place.

I'm telling you - the ram is upside down, no other explanation.

Ensure those tabs are raised before attempting to insert the RAM. Refer to page 9 of the motherboard user guide. The slot isn't designed to be centered, which affects how the RAM fits.
