Hello and thanks very much!

I’m considering purchasing a replacement, perhaps a new SSD and a clean installation of Windows 10. This might resolve my issue until I can afford a completely new computer. I'll update you within the next few days.

Hello everyone, following the installation of a new solid-state drive on my computer, I haven't noticed any significant changes aside from slightly quicker loading times. I’m unsure how to proceed... perhaps it’s the end of my system. I have also switched from DisplayPort to HDMI, but there has been no discernible effect.

For how many years do you own this computer? Do your video games and computer’s software programs reside on the identical solid-state drive?

Greetings and thanks. It was created in 2013 using Windows 7 Ultimate, and it’s now been upgraded to Windows 10 Pro – they recently updated it as well.
🙂
Yes, the game and operating system are both installed on a single SSD. I anticipate needing to apply thermal paste to my 2-year-old GPU (a 1060 with 6GB) and will do that too.

I’m surprised I didn’t notice earlier, but readings of 67-69 degrees Celsius on the motherboard are excessively high. It should typically remain below 60°C and ideally be between 45-55°C during regular operation. How many fans are installed in your case? A previous impact might have compromised the seal of the chipset heat sink’s thermal paste, leading to this issue. You may need to apply fresh thermal paste or a graphite pad instead.

Regularly inspecting the thermal interface material is frequently recommended, however, this might not address your issue. Furthermore, attempting a fresh installation of Windows 10 and updating the BIOS, should it be outdated, are also advisable steps.

The BIOS has been revised, and I’ll inspect the thermal adhesive… plus, audio performance is improved, and the game operates more fluidly when the headset adapter isn't connected via USB.

The Corsair Link readings were inaccurate. I accessed BIOS and noted a CPU temperature of 29 degrees Celsius and a motherboard temperature of 31 degrees Celsius. My case is a Lian Li P80 “armor suit.” The CPU’s thermal paste was replaced one week prior, and my issue appears to be related to the GPU's thermal paste. My USB Hyper Headset gaming experience runs more smoothly when the headset is not plugged in; however, I still experience minor stutters that are less intense with the headset connected.

Hello everyone. After disassembling my graphics card and applying new thermal paste, the stuttering persisted. However, I’ve unfortunately identified the source: my Razer software, along with the BIOS detecting four keyboards and two mice – despite uninstalling, reinstalling, and numerous troubleshooting efforts, my PC continues to stutter in games without my Razer mouse and keyboard. The computer runs the game flawlessly otherwise… After twenty years of using my first Razer product, the Viper, and another ten Razer products I’ve acquired, I don't believe I’ll ever purchase anything else from Razer. I envisioned Razer products supporting gamers… Thank you to everyone who read my post and those who took the time to respond.

It’s peculiar; I own a razor mouse and haven't encountered any issues with it. This appears to be yet another illustration of the unpredictable nature of technology.
