My system specifications are: an NVIDIA GTX 1070 graphics card, an Intel i7-6700K processor, 16GB of 3000MHz RAM, a LENOVO SKYBAY (U3E1) motherboard, a 931GB Seagate ST1000DM010-2EP102 (SATA) hard drive, and a 430 watt bronze power supply. I’ve attempted numerous troubleshooting steps, including performing a factory reset, installing updated drivers, adjusting NVIDIA control panel settings, and other modifications. However, I'm still encountering these FPS spikes that cause brief freezes in the game. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, my system configuration includes a GTX 1070, an i7-6700K processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, a 1TB 7200rpm hard drive, and a 430-watt bronze power supply. I often experience dips in frame rate/performance fluctuations while playing games, but this doesn’t happen consistently. For instance, I encounter them in Minecraft, Rust, Star Wars: The Old Republic, PUBG, and Mordhau; however, my other games like Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Rocket League do not exhibit this behavior.
It’s scheduled for Monday. I've started a few different discussions about this, and people have suggested replacing it, but it shouldn’t impact my operation. I’m completely baffled as to what the issue might be. Regardless, I’m obtaining a new power supply unit, and I’m unsure if my motherboard is the problem – perhaps it’s faulty or simply a poor Lenovo model installed initially.

If it’s not the PSU, perhaps the GPU's default drivers installed by Windows, or it could be the HDD.
