The game mode I primarily play, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Warzone, frequently causes significant performance problems on my computer. Despite attempting numerous troubleshooting solutions, nothing has proven effective. My system specs include an RTX 2070 graphics card, an i5-7600K processor, 16GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM, a 144Hz monitor, an Asus TUF Z270 Mark 2 motherboard, and Modern Warfare installed on an SSD. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer.

Potential drawbacks when purchasing a used processor:

-Unscrupulous vendors. Prices shouldn’t exceed $60-$70 for the processors I previously discussed.
-Deceptive sellers. The CPU might be defunct, broken, or involved in deceptive practices such as swaps. Therefore, it's advisable to purchase from platforms like eBay, which offer buyer protection and refunds in situations like these.

Hello, I experienced a similar problem, but the cause was my older computer. When the same issue arose with Rainbow Six Siege, I was able to resolve it and boost FPS up to 100 from approximately 50-60. The solution that worked for me involved downloading Razer Cortex – an application designed to optimize gaming performance by closing unnecessary background processes and conserving energy. Within the app’s interface, I discovered support for multiple games, including Warzone; therefore, I recommend trying it if you haven't already.

Warzone presents a frustrating experience for players with older processors having limited core counts. The situation worsens if your system utilizes only single-channel memory – a further drawback. This title demands up to 12 processor threads, yet many CPUs possess just four. Unless you locate a discounted i7-6700(K) or i7-7700(K) costing less than $80 secondhand, upgrading your entire platform—including the CPU, motherboard, and RAM (if it’s not DDR4)—becomes necessary.

Have things consistently been like this? Since the version 4 release, my 2080 Ti has experienced difficulties with performance, though it functioned correctly previously.

With my system utilizing two memory channels, should I consider upgrading my processor? What are the potential dangers of purchasing a used CPU – specifically concerning malware exposure or data breaches?

Here’s a revised version of the text:

Potential drawbacks when purchasing used CPUs include:

- Unscrupulous sellers may overcharge – prices shouldn't exceed $60-$70 for the models I previously discussed.
- Deceptive practices are possible; a CPU might be faulty, harmed, or involved in fraudulent exchanges. Platforms like eBay offer buyer protection and refunds for such situations.
