Hi everyone, I’m looking for some suggestions to resolve my problem. Yesterday my network would disconnect and then reconnect frequently, so I had to restart it using the app. I’m using Eero Pro. It took a long time to get back online, so I checked the Eero connected to my modem and saw the red light meaning no internet. I deleted the network, reset Eero to its factory settings, and tried resetting the router again. Every time it tries to connect, it says it can’t find anything. I’ve also tried the other two Eeros I own, restarted my modem, and reset it back to factory settings, but nothing worked. I exchanged the Eeros this morning thinking something might have happened during the restart, but the new ones are doing the same thing. If I connect my switch into the Zonihome modem, I get internet through Ethernet fine. It seems the issue might be with the modem settings, though it looks like there’s no configuration for fiber modems. I have a fiber connection from Xmission with a Zonihome modem. Could anyone help me figure this out?

Which Zhone device model are you using? Does it feature several Ethernet ports on the rear? Does it also offer its own Wi-Fi connectivity? After the modem is operational, have you attempted to reconnect your Eero router?

The modem has been functioning properly from the start. It is a Zhone Z511-ge-2424a fiber modem with four Ethernet ports labeled GE1, GE2, GE3, and GE4 on the back.

I'll let you know when you respond.

The Zhone device functions as both a modem and a router with gigabit LAN ports, plus internal antennas for WiFi. It operates as a NAT gateway itself. When combining it with another NAT system like Eero mesh, conflicts may arise. Decide if you prefer Zhone as the main NAT or Eero in access point mode. Adjust its settings accordingly—switch to bridge mode if needed, and disable the wireless AP if unused. This helps reduce WiFi interference for everyone involved.
