I'm dealing with video capture from an N64 to a laptop via an Amazon AV2 HDMI up scaler, connected to an EVGA XR1 Lite capture card. In Streamlabs the footage alternates between clear and very low quality. Testing the capture card alone resolved the issue, but using just the upscaler didn't fix it. Switching to a newer console like the original Xbox eliminated the problem entirely. There seems to be a compatibility issue with older setups. You might need to upgrade to a different upscaler or hardware for stable performance. A video with this issue has been shared for reference.
