In our home the WiFi covers all rooms except the back office, where it doesn’t reach. We use Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi inside that area. Extenders haven’t helped much since they’re too slow. Are there any affordable ways to boost the signal there?

You might purchase a different router and set it up as a Wi-Fi hotspot. If the space already supports Ethernet, connecting should be straightforward.
