My EFI drive on my Windows To Go device seems unstable. I can’t start from macOS settings, but it shows up in the boot options. Usually I can boot normally, though sometimes a PRAM reset is needed. Instead of appearing as a standard Windows partition, it displays as “EFI Boot” with an external drive icon (I think it should just show Windows with the Boot Camp symbol if everything’s intact). If you need to rebuild the EFI section while the system still works, a Windows Recovery USB might not be effective since it’s tied to Windows To Go. For more details, check the WinToUSB documentation about cloning Windows partitions onto an external SSD.
