Yesterday, I began playing Far Cry 4 on my gaming computer, and the in-game camera motion feels unsettling. The game exhibits noticeable pauses, which I believe is a form of micro-stuttering, despite maintaining consistently high frame rates above 50 frames per second. Temperatures remain optimal, indicating no performance limitations due to throttling or power restrictions.

My system specifications are as follows: an i5 8300h processor, a GTX 1050Ti graphics card, an NVMe PCIe SSD where Far Cry is installed, 8GB of DDR4 RAM at 2666MHz speed, and a 60Hz display. Considering these details, I don't believe the hardware is contributing to the problem, and all drivers are up-to-date. Could you recommend any potential solutions to address this issue?

To disable a graphic overlay, it can be beneficial, particularly when playing games on Steam and Origin. Additionally, ensure that no other programs are heavily utilizing your memory, as frequent slowdowns often indicate insufficient RAM being consumed and the system resorting to hard drive access.

If you’re utilizing a graphical element, consider disabling it—I discovered this beneficial for Steam and Origin games. Additionally, ensure that no other programs are consuming your memory, as frequent pauses can often stem from a lack of available RAM being forced to utilize your hard drive.
