[FIXED] turning over my computer's memory
[FIXED] turning over my computer's memory
Some motherboards let you use built-in overdrive settings right when they come out, similar to the MSI OC Try It feature.
I already turned on XMP and my memory is running at 3200mhz. I thought about trying to push it up to 3600mhz just to get a little extra speed (Sorry, I am totally new to this stuff).
But wait, aren't you sure I can't go faster than normal? I've watched guys on YouTube try it and they succeed!
Just a quick tip: don't mark your question as solved until it's actually done. People with more experience will stop bothering you when they see something like this. Sure, you can overclock memory speeds beyond what's normal or tweak timings manually to make things work better and then check if it stays stable. When you get an answer that looks wrong like this: To be honest, I didn't even know you could do that! That should give a clear sign that the wrong person is trying to answer your question and they don't have the right solution.
