I recently acquired my initial personal computer, and I’m feeling quite lost. My gaming headset’s microphone isn’t functioning within Fortnite. I’ve connected my speakers and plugged my headset into them, yet the microphone remains unresponsive.

Seriously, you seem unfamiliar with audio settings. 1. Do you possess a USB sound card designed for surround sound headphones? If so, please connect it. 2. All headsets feature two 3.5mm connectors: one pink and one green. The pink connector is designated for the microphone, while the green one handles the actual audio output. To connect your headset to external speakers, you’ll require an adapter specifically for these 3.5mm jacks. Alternatively, you can attempt to plug them into the front panel headphone and microphone input jacks.

Seriously, you seem unfamiliar with audio basics. 1. Do you possess a USB soundcard paired with surround sound headphones? If so, connect it. 2. All headsets feature two 3.5mm connectors: one pink and one green. The pink port is designated for the microphone, while the green port handles the actual audio output. Therefore, to connect your headset to external speakers, you’ll require an adapter for the dual 3.5mm jacks. Alternatively, you can attempt to plug them into the front panel headphone and microphone input jacks.

Many individuals will not utilize the microphone; instead, it must be linked to the computer’s audio ports. Any necessary adapters would vary based on your headphones, a detail you haven't provided.
