[Fixed] Knowing how to check infinite fabric pattern and dividers
Yeah, A2 and B2 are the main ones to use, while A1 and B1 are the back-up options. You only need those if you have four sticks of RAM running at a slow speed because of how the Infinity Fabric works. It slows things down compared to an XMP rating for just two sticks. A2 is the best choice as the primary port on AMD systems, it's the only way to get high speeds with one stick. It looks a bit like the USB ports on the back of your PC: there are some red slots that run super fast (3.2), standard blue ones (3.0), and black ones that are just 2.0 speed. To get really fast RAM, you have to use the red A2-B2 spots. The black A1-B1 spots are for slower stuff.
So I'm going to stick my RAM sticks into an A2-B2 board and try to push them to a higher clock speed. Is there any other setting that needs changing? Sorry for all this stupidity, but I just need someone to tell me how to get my PC running at top speed.
It depends on exactly how your PC works after you try an overclock. You might have to lower voltages or add some power to the processor, just like tuning a car for better speed without breaking it down. Finding the right balance is key when overclocking a Ryzen chip.
Going to do it straight up after some other chances went wrong haha
I just fixed them guys with an XMP. One last question: are the latency timings working properly? Here is the link to check it out: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10Wr-KVD...sp=sharing
