Hey, I have a few questions for my Ryzen 3800X chip because I want to learn from people who know more than me. I bought an Asus Crosshair VIII board and an Asus Strix LC360 AIO liquid cooler. My goal is to speed up the processor a bit more. But when I look online, it says that manually changing settings for the Ryzen 3000 series isn't safe or allowed. I've seen reviews saying processors work best with different power levels depending on how hard they are used. Lots of places tell you not to keep the same voltage all the time because that can hurt the chip. My current settings stay exactly as the factory made them. My C.P.U. Boost Power is set to "Auto." I also turn my P.B.O. (Power Boost Optimization) setting to Auto. There is a slider between 1x and 10x in the PBO section (Scala). Is it better to drag that slider higher or keep it at Auto? My main worry is using the chip with maximum power without hurting or breaking it. Could you please tell me how these two settings should be adjusted for good performance while staying safe?

One CPU with one core called CB20 shows the speed of a 3800X is just about right. You probably should see the score hit above 5100 or even reach 5200 in the future.

I set one of my bios profiles to XMP and let the CPU run at PBO +200Mhz. It gets a decent score in CB20, but not as good as just running it at 4.3GHz. What I like about PBO is that it sleeps well - using less power while awake.

Check out this link to get a clock tuner for your Ryzen CPU from 1USMUS, which is now available.

I was already boosting it to 200 MHz. Now I'm turning everything off and letting it run in Auto mode. Is raising that number risky?

Should I try using this app because they warned me that it wasn't working well enough yet?

I'm going to attempt it. Does the process of Ryzen Drama calculation work similarly? We get numbers back, and then we put those numbers into the BIOS settings?

It just runs like a program and has to be running right there so it can work. The settings change every time you play against other players using the score from the 20-game round.

It's hard for me to tell if that is all I need to do, or if I still have to type something in. Just pressing the start button after following the instructions isn't enough, right? Do I really have to fill out some information?
