Hello, over the past three months, my computer’s performance has gradually decreased. This began after updating my graphics card drivers in November and December of 2019. I’ve been investigating the issue, and it seems I may have identified a potential cause. When I play games such as Rainbow Six Siege, Grand Theft Auto, or Sea of Thieves, my frames per second fluctuate significantly, jumping from 50 to 40. I’ve also observed that my graphics card and central processing unit are frequently exchanging power—for instance, when the GPU uses 120 watts, the CPU draws approximately 50 watts, and conversely, when the CPU reaches 65 watts, the GPU consumes 80 watts. Could this be related to my power supply unit or graphics card?

My assumption is that the power supply unit is responsible for these problems. Several articles and reviews regarding the VS series suggest it doesn't perform optimally when subjected to intense workloads, although it functions adequately for standard computer usage. Furthermore, Tom’s Hardware has given this product a less-than-favorable assessment.

If possible, test the RX580 in another system to evaluate its performance.

It’s likely the power supply unit is responsible for these problems. Several sources, including articles and reviews about the VS series, suggest that it doesn't perform reliably when subjected to intense workloads, although it functions adequately for standard computing tasks. Furthermore, Tom’s Hardware gave this model a poor assessment.

If possible, test the RX580 in another computer system to evaluate its performance.

Could you please specify your RAM’s speed and whether it's a single 8GB stick or two 4GB sticks?
