I installed Ubuntu on my Asus Transformer Mini because Windows was slowing me down with its background tasks. It runs smoothly overall, though I notice some vertical screen issues when using VLC or the built-in video player. The problem is minor and mostly distracting, but it’s something to keep in mind. Any advice would be welcome.

Check out the Arch Wiki for more details; it likely works on Ubuntu too.

I confirmed the entry, but the dialogue isn't being saved to the file.

The directory listing of /etc/X11 will show system configuration files related to X11, such as service definitions, user profiles, and settings.
