But it doesn’t send a POST. I haven’t used a PC in years, but the last time I did had it working and posting normally, though sometimes it just showed no boot device. This one isn’t posting at all. Next week, if I have time after work, I’ll get a different boot device and ask someone to make a Windows installer on an USB drive.
I mean what you're asking is about the issue where the system doesn't post. You even displayed the BIOS screen, which suggests it should be posting now. If you're referring to the beeps during POST, those have largely disappeared and are now replaced by four debug LEDs. If you can reach the BIOS, verify if any drives are detected. This board includes at least one NVMe port, likely serving as the boot drive. A helpful tool would be a bootable USB with a Windows installer. You might attempt to boot from it to test functionality and use it to install Windows on the boot drive. You can obtain a free legal Windows copy directly from Microsoft's site. Good luck!
Thanks for your input. I'll try adjusting it. The issue is it often didn't post reliably, with no display or output most of the time—around 99.9%. The image I shared seemed to appear randomly. I'm not sure if removing it from the case helped or was just a placebo, but it now shows more frequently and can repeat when I don't move it.
Requested an external enclosure for the SSD to test functionality. Expected arrival within two days. No additional M.2 ports detected, and no other data cables were visible inside the unit.
The USB case arrived and the SSD appears to function properly. The only exception was Windows, which seems like a typical out-of-box configuration (basic Windows apps, AMD software). There were BIOS files in the download folder, possibly indicating an attempt to flash or modify the BIOS settings. It’s unclear if this points to a motherboard issue, but it might be related to the files found there.
It functioned properly each time I inserted the SSD, but after that it stopped working completely. If I remove it, it only works again after resetting the CMOS. I plan to buy a SATA cable and drive later today to test if that fixes the issue.
