Hi, the issue seems to be with the PC not displaying properly despite fans spinning. Only five short beeps are emitted, yet all fans are active. Some components are brand new while others are used, but everything is listed as tested and has a warranty. My setup includes: - ASRock H410M-HVS (new) - i3-10100F (new) - RX 580 4GB Sapphire Nitro+ (used) - Thermaltake Hamburg 530W (used) - 2x8GB Goodram IRDM 2666MHz (used) - Kioxia 480 GB (new) - Natec Armadillo (new) I've tried several fixes: swapping RAM slots, ensuring all power connectors are secure, booting with just one stick of RAM, CPU and GPU, clearing CMOS by connecting pins and removing the battery, and inspecting motherboard connections. Since I don’t have spare RAM sticks or a GPU to test, I checked the ASRock documentation which says five beeps indicate a CPU error—though I’m skeptical as the info is from 2002 and seems outdated. Other manufacturers suggest no graphics issue with five beeps. I spoke to someone with a similar problem who mentioned not fully plugging in the HDMI cable. I use a DVI-D Single Link cable, but the ports are DVI-D Dual Link, which might affect compatibility. Could this be a problem?

I’ve encountered difficulties using dual-link dviD after certain Windows updates. My current preference is to skip it entirely, as it appears to cause reliability problems each time. Could there be alternatives to achieve similar results without dual-link dviD?

GPU offers additional connections, but my display only supports D-Sub and DVI-D Dual Link. Right now I don’t have any other monitor or TV at home. In a few weeks I plan to visit my parents’ place and see if an HDMI cable works there.

I checked online more and found that some users claim a 5-beep on newer ASRock boards indicates the GPU isn't connected. You can try checking if the beep pattern matches your motherboard's documentation or consult a technician for confirmation.

I could possibly identify the reason behind your issues — a bent pin on one of the PCIe connections, especially the last one on the left side. Please verify if it is indeed bent. If confirmed, consider whether you should attempt repairs yourself or seek professional assistance.

The screen is positioned right in front of its new replacements. I have an unusual old monitor—a Korean grey market model. There might be a solution on their website, but it’s complicated by a tangled mess that interferes with translation tools, and I’m having trouble understanding the Korean text.

It's located at the rear, but the GPU could be unable to reach it. Maybe the motherboard isn't even able to access it.

Are there additional hot plug detections? The issue with PCIe is that inserting just one channel card still functions, and the cans won<|pad|> can’t reach that pin. That doesn’t confirm it’s not the problem.

Hello, I see you're experiencing the same issue (5 beeps) and suspect your GPU might be smaller. Could that be contributing to the problem?
