Hi everyone,
My partner and I really enjoy this new farcry game a lot. But we've run into a problem with her version. Before the latest patch, she could run it smoothly at medium settings in 1920*1080 resolution, limited mainly by her GPU memory (2GB GDDR5) on an AMD R9 290. After the update, performance has dropped significantly. Even at low settings, the game reports it's exceeding its memory limit. Since we're playing co-op, I can't continue without her. Is there any workaround besides upgrading her card? We don’t want to force a GPU upgrade that might not be feasible for her. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Verify if the display scale is at 100% or above. I experienced similar changes to 200% after an update, using up four times the GPU power without any real benefit.
