Recently I assembled this PC using a Gigabyte (A520M S2H) motherboard and installed a Ryzen 5 4650G processor... The issue is that I feel the installation might be off, since the RAM appears to be being pushed by the CPU fan... Should I be concerned? Luckily, the RAM isn’t bent and the system runs smoothly, but I’m worried about potential problems with the RAM or the CPU fan in the future.
It should be okay if it lightly touches without applying force. Any pressure over time might lead to a stress fracture in the PCB and harm the MB/Ram/slot connections, potentially causing another component to short. I've noticed motherboards with rough shapes still function properly. I’d likely sand or file away the extra plastic around the CPU cooler until they stop touching. If you install a new cooler, check compatibility carefully. When removing the ring, follow the instructions—removed one and it worked. The outer ring shouldn’t impact temperatures, and the inner ring stays connected to the fan. There are two small screws below; I broke them. I pulled those two tabs and they came off easily.

If you're avoiding damage, just remove the screws without breaking them.
