2 and 4 could be dual channel, but the CPU might have been affected, possibly damaging the IMC, which could prevent it from booting properly with dual channel.

Do you believe the issue is more likely with the motherboard or the CPU? I noticed in other discussions that if the CPU were completely damaged, it wouldn't start up at all. It seems there might have been a problem with the socket, possibly due to the CPU being removed along with the cooler during replacement. You mentioned a loud click followed by the CPU getting stuck on the cooler.

Not always accurate because the pins aren't essential for starting up, though they're important for other functions. Some are just special pins I'm not sure about—it's probably a 50-50 chance. The physical socket matters; if the new mobile doesn't fit, it could be due to a cracked die, which is very unlikely.

I think I should hold off until the new motherboard arrives and check if the issue was the motherboard or if I need to replace my CPU as well.
