First time tuning the CPU? 😄
Hey everyone, just tried overclocking my CPU and GPU for the first time. How’s it going? My Intel i7-9700K is running at 5GHz all the way up, at 1.3V, with the temps hitting around 69°C. I’m using an MSI RTX2070 super gaming trio—2040MHZ core clock and 7800MHZ memory clock—at about 60°C. My motherboard is the MSI Z390 MPG Gaming Pro Carbon. What’s your experience with these results?
I don't understand what XTU means. You're working with Ada64, 3dmark, and PCMARK10.
They seem believable enough; stability depends on how well it integrates with your tools. For serious use, I’d likely go with P95 if profitability is a goal.
It looks like you're suggesting a performance tweak. You might be aiming for a rating of 5.2 at 1.4V.
Following the adjustment, I'm now operating smoothly at 2.8V with a 5GHZ clock and a ring ratio of 47GHZ. The AVX offset is set to 300MHZ plus loadline calibration at level 2 out of 7.
