I'm setting up a gaming build from scratch and have selected all the components, checking their compatibility with each other.
Check if it suits gaming experiences similar to Call of Duty and other titles, or consider upgrading your GPU or CPU accordingly.
why do you prefer an AMD CPU for the 4070?! An Intel CPU would be better and also consider waiting a bit longer, around two months, until the new RTX 5000 release comes out for the first time! You should hold on, plus there might be other updates in other parts of the PC.
You're right about the 7800x3d being a top choice for gaming before the AMD 9000 lineup came out. Intel remains strong, but AMD has made significant progress and gained considerable market share recently.
Regarding the 4070, I understand where you're coming from, but it seems Nvidia might be setting higher prices than usual. I generally favor AMD for graphics due to better value, but that's just my perspective.
I have limited experience setting up a computer, as this is my first attempt and I’m not very familiar with the process.
Sorry, the remark was aimed at chillhouse1 because of the Intel comment about being superior. It’s not that their performance is bad—I own a 12600kf and AMD is quite solid now.
For GPUs, if you're looking to save money, the AMD RX 7900 XT could be a good option.

It’s a bit less powerful but offers better raw performance compared to the 4070ti super. Ray tracing on an NVIDIA GPU will be superior, though the RX 7900 XT is significantly cheaper. It might be worth considering.
you need to be fully informed before making a purchase,
i have a strong preference for intel and nvidia,
since the intel® pentium® gold g5420 processor runs at 3.8 ghz,
it’s better than the pentium 4, though i’m not sure,
but now that it has the gtx 4070, i immediately think of intel again.
