First time not starting up.
First time not starting up.
Hello everyone. I recently received a new motherboard, CPU, power supply unit, and graphics card. After connecting everything and setting it up, when I try to boot using a Windows 10 USB, the CPU indicator lights up first, then the VGA light appears, and the computer crashes immediately afterward. It keeps looping without starting properly. I’m planning to remove the graphics card to check if it’s correctly seated, but it still shows up in BIOS and doesn’t boot at all.
You're not relying on outdated PSU cables? You're getting the ones that came with the latest PSU... I'm sure of it.
These are all the updated cables. At first I was using the older ones, but I changed to the newer ones after facing this problem. Yes, it boots from the UEFI USB. When I don’t attempt a boot, it moves through BIOS smoothly with no warning lights. If I try to boot via USB, the CPU indicator lights up, then three-quarters of the screen turns black with pixelated BIOS output covering the top quarter.
Updated my setup by adding the previous graphics card and confirmed consistent outcomes. Next, I plan to test the CPU to determine if the issue lies with the motherboard.
Oh no, it seems like something might be damaged. I really don’t want it to be the CPU.
