Hi guys, I just changed my CPU for the first time (i5 3570k from the Ivy series/Intel). After an Intel burn test, I reached a max of 76°C at 4.2GHz. My current core voltage is around 1.150, and I'm using the Hyper Evo 212 cooler. Are these temperatures and speeds in relation to voltage okay? Usually it stayed between the low 50s and mid-60s, with a quick jump to the 70s!

I wouldn't push IBT to its highest setting for any duration. The temperatures recorded are: Tcase (CPU temp) = 67C Tjunction (Core temp) = 72C Tj Max (Throttle temp) = 105C

Are the overclocking adjustments made through BIOS or software?
