First thoughts on Hatred are stark and unsettling.
I downloaded Hatred recently, after purchasing it in a bundle, and I was excited to discover what this intense game had to offer. Of course, I was let down. The storyline is dense and repetitive, with executions that don’t go far beyond basic violence, similar to what you’d see in mortal combat fatalities. The car mechanics are poorly handled, and overall the experience fell short. The only positives from my short playtime were the graphics and the mood. I’ve been playing at around 55-24 frames per second with maximum settings, and I noticed that someone with a 970 chip gets more frames than me with a 750Ti. What are your thoughts on the game?
I didn't purchase it; I don't like TD shooters. Their marketing approach was intriguing, which drove sales, but the game itself is just average.
The game's success came from its bold approach. These titles aren't always great, but they perform well since players are drawn to the excitement.
Surely, the entire 'violent' aspect was merely a tactic to entice customers toward their average top-down game. To be honest, even Nuclear Throne offers more excitement than this, by far.
