I recently assembled a new gaming rig featuring an RX 5700 XT, an i7-12100F, 8GB DDR4 RAM, a 2666MHz NVMe SSD, and a Western Black stock cooler. The setup includes a 120mm Intel LGA 1700 CPU cooler, a 120mm generic intake fan, and a 120mm exhaust fan. I'm running Apex at the lowest difficulty and it performs adequately, but the CPU usage hits 100% consistently, causing crashes. This issue occurs on both DirectX 11 and Steam, with similar behavior when playing CS2. I also observed the CPU utilization reaching full capacity during gameplay.

Need additional storage? Just request another 8GB.

For budget reasons you might not have reached 16GB yet—expand your Pagefile manually and use twice the suggested size. See the guide for details.

A swap file isn't a RAM substitute in any type of way.

No way, but it will definitely prevent the crashing during complex multitasking activities.

Not intended for gaming purposes, at least. It will certainly increase latency by a significant margin.

Think about using that option instead so it doesn’t keep crashing when Discord runs in the background. Switching to Linux might be safer, or just try a lighter Windows version. Upgrading to more memory could also help.
