Hello Guys,
I placed an order for some components to assemble my own PC. This is my first time, so I have a few questions.
I want to find out the optimal settings for my BIOS/UEFI when overclocking with this build.
Could you help clarify what works best?
These are the parts I'm using:
Motherboard: MSI Z270 GAMING M7
CPU: Intel Core i7 7700K
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING X 8G
RAM: Corsair DDR4 Dominator Platinum 2x8GB 2400
SSD: Samsung 960 EVO 250GB
HDD: Toshiba 3TB
Power supply: be quiet! Power Zone 850W
Fan: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo
Case: Corsair Crystal 570X RGB

What CPU cooler did you place an order for? And I would configure the Dominator RAM to operate at 3200MHz. Allow the motherboard to establish auto timings for DRAM.

I received the Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo, and there are three additional fans inside the case.

You'll need something better.

Consider what type of cooler you believe would be suitable since you thought it was a good one.

What type of cooler should I purchase, thinking it's a good option?
It depends on your budget.

Here are some of my suggestions:
Cryorig H7 should be used at minimum settings, avoid overclocking.
Cryorig H5 offers a better option with lighter overclocking.
Noctua NH-D15 provides a superior choice with more overclocking potential.
NZXT Kraken X62 is my preferred liquid cooler for RGB (😀), especially for overclocking. Other Corsair models are similar but more affordable. There are also other liquid coolers that claim to be better, though I’m not familiar with them.

50-100 euro's then? This one was really affordable, I have to admit. Couldn't I use it for a short time so I didn't purchase it without any value? Would it harm my PC?

You might want to test it out and see. You'd probably need to reduce the voltage and possibly turn off turbo boost if temperatures rise too much while under load.
