This occurs only when I don't connect the HDMI cable to the graphics card, and everything functions properly. It seems to indicate a faulty graphics card, but this issue arises specifically when the HDMI isn't plugged in.

The issue might be with the monitor itself... since you're not connecting it. If it functions properly with the HDMI cable attached, everything appears to be correct.
