I’m still getting familiar with PC components, especially since I was used to gaming laptops. The information you found seems important—when an Intel Rocket Lake CPU isn’t installed, the M.2 slot gets disabled. I’d appreciate any guidance to understand what this means and how it affects my setup.

This indicates the selected port isn't available. You need to choose from the alternatives. It's a PCIe 4.0 port, but your processor can't handle it.
