Firmware upgrade for GIGABYTE M32U Arm Edition monitor encountered an interruption during completion.
Hello everyone. Let me clarify the situation. I downloaded the Firmware and Control Center from GIGABYTE's support page (firmware version F11) to update my monitor's firmware (version F9). The instructions were clear: connect the USB B cable to both the monitor and my PC. When I started the installation, it reported that the firmware update was about halfway done but failed with the message "Firmware installation failed." Now my monitor doesn’t power on at all. I filed a ticket on GIGABYTE’s e-Support page, but they haven’t responded. My warranty is still valid until December 2025. After a week, I tried connecting the monitor as an external via HDMI to my Asus M16 2023 (GU604VI). The laptop recognized it in Windows 11 under Display settings as "GIGABYTE M32U," and the resolution changed to 4K on my machine. However, the monitor screen remains off and won’t turn on, regardless of the inputs or devices I used—including USB C, HDMI 1, HDMI 2, and even connecting other devices like a laptop, phone, or PS4. I’m frustrated because this seems to be my second issue with Gigabyte support, and I’m really considering avoiding their products in the future.
