Downloading a video in Firefox to indicate a failure now returns an incomplete message saying "complete file" is missing. I can initiate a fresh download, showing both the partial and final files, and pause it when needed. After pasting the full filename from the new start, resume playback. This method has saved me significant time by avoiding repeated restarts.

Wouldn’t that raise the chance of getting damaged files? Could you tell me what kind of internet connection you’re using, how fast it is? What size are the files you’re trying to download that aren’t loading? It would be better to figure out why the downloads fail and solve the issue.

This feature requires a remote server that allows resumes; not all servers do. If your server doesn’t support resuming, your file might be lost and the download will begin anew. The process also varies depending on how the file is created—some are built directly from larger sources or combined with audio and subtitles.

Wouldn't that raise the chance of corrupted data? What network connection are you using? What is the speed of your downloads? Which files are failing and how large are they? It would be better to figure out why the downloads stop and resolve the issue quickly.
